The announcement was made in the magazine and on its official social media, stated that Shino passed away in June 2025.
An Unexpected Loss
The notice, titled “Notice of the Passing of Teacher Shino,” was addressed to all readers. It expressed gratitude for their continued support of Monthly Comic Dengeki Daioh and their enjoyment of the manga artist’s work. The editorial team shared their grief over the sudden and premature death of the author and offered their heartfelt condolences. The announcement was accompanied by a new illustration from Shino’s manga, featuring the series’ two main characters. This final drawing serves as a poignant tribute to the beloved artist. The series “Until You and I Become Husband and Wife” began its serialization in December 2022 and has released two tankÅbon volumes to date.
