Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo Chapter 3 “Swimming in the Forest” provided a deeper look into the characters and their motivations. The chapter saw the Okkotsu siblings and Maru travel to Gifu to investigate a man eating Shark which turned out to be a tiger. The trio met Nagata, a former sorcerer in a shark costume, who had a personal connection to the tiger.

The mission however, was also a moment for Tsurugi and Maru to clash over their differing views on conflict and coexistence. Tsurugi, who was angry about Maru’s inaction in the last chapter, believed that the tiger should be killed. In contrast, Maru argued for a peaceful solution. Cross’s Confrontation: Maru’s confession about his shared technique with his twin brother, Cross, is a huge risk. Chapter 4 may show Cross confronting Maru, angry about his decision to reveal his secret. This confrontation could lead to a battle between the two brothers, with Tsurugi and Yuka caught in the middle.
