Oshi no Ko Season 3 Confirmed for January 2026

The mystery and drama of the entertainment industry return as Oshi no Ko Season 3 is officially set to premiere in January 2026. The announcement was made during the “TV Anime Oshi no Ko Kanto Noryo Matsuri” event in Japan, where a new key visual and a broadcast window were finally revealed.

The new visual prominently features Ruby Hoshino on a variety show stage, hinting at the upcoming “Mainstay” arc, which will take center stage in the new season. The story arc, which follows the events of Season 2, will delve deeper into Ruby’s journey in the entertainment industry and her growing entanglement in the mystery of her mother Ai’s murder. As the series progresses, her brother Aqua will continue his relentless pursuit of revenge against their biological father.

The highly-anticipated third season will once again be produced by Doga Kobo, the studio behind the first two successful seasons. The returning staff includes director Daisuke Hiramaki and series composer Jin Tanaka, ensuring a consistent and high-quality adaptation.

This season is set to be a pivotal point in the story as both Aqua and Ruby’s paths converge on their quest for vengeance, leading to a much darker and more intense narrative. Fans can expect a thrilling new chapter that moves the story to a “new stage,” as teased by the official announcement.
