Meanwhile, the gang’s intricate plan against Acca Howler hit new snags. On his boat, Howler found himself surrounded by government officials. Key West received a crucial, flirty text from Laem Chabang, complete with photos of Lulu and Yokohama, confirming Howler’s hunt for a lava rock connected to his immense fortune. This revelation puts Laem in a precarious position, possibly signaling her defection or a deepening of her own manipulative schemes, as Meryl Mei Qi shrewdly observed. The chapter’s excellent pacing, jumping between these two intense scenarios, kept the tension at a fever pitch.
