Chainsaw Man Chapter 211 began with a bewildered Denji waking up in a classroom, having been rescued by a girl who calls herself “Li’l D”. He soon discovers that Li’l D is actually the Death Devil and with the assistance of her ally the Famine Devil (Fami), she brought him here to warn him. Denji, still skeptical questioned the Death Devil’s claims until she revealed her true purpose.
The Death Devil explained that the War Devil “Yoru” has grown more powerful than anyone anticipated due to the re emergence of nuclear weapons. Yoru’s ultimate plan is to turn Denji into a weapon to erase the concept of death, thereby creating a world of “never ending World War II.” This would trap undying humans in an eternal cycle of hatred and suffering, a nightmare scenario that the Death Devil claims she tried to prevent, only to make the future worse.
Denji remained unconvinced by the story until Miri Sugo (the Longsword hybrid) suggested a more direct form of proof. As the Death Devil showed the gaping hole in her stomach, Denji became fixated on her panties and for this reason alone, he agreed to trust her. The chapter ends with this bizarre, yet very Denji like alliance cemented.
