The popular romantic comedy manga “Are There No Gals Who Are Kind to Otakus!?” is getting a TV anime adaptation in 2026. The announcement was celebrated with special illustrations from the original creators.
The series, based on a story by Norishiro chan and illustrated by Uozumi Sakana, is a romantic comedy that follows Takuya Seo, a high school boy with otaku hobbies. His life takes a turn when he becomes involved with two “gals” who share his interests: the cool and collected Kei Amane and the cheerful Kotoko Ijichi. The manga explores their relationships as they connect through their shared passions.
With the 11th volume of the manga set to be released on October 20th, the anime adaptation arrives at a perfect time for both new and long time fans.
